Weekly group yoga classes or private one-to-one classes for adults and yoga courses for teenagers.

My training was with the Sivananda Vedanta center in India. My classes are based on the traditional way that Yoga was intended; as a tool to keep the body and vital energy (prana) clear and healthy to allow the practitioner to develop concentration for meditation with the intention of understanding our real nature. Approaching the practice of asana as a moving meditation whilst encouraging balance and strength as well as flexibility, without making the physical the main aim of the class, and taking away the pressure of comparison.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga class based on the Sivananda Yoga tradition. The class starts with relaxation, moving into Sun salutations to warm the body and encourage the flow of breath to energize and open the body from the day.
Moving into standing postures to build strength and flexibility. Seated postures to relax and sooth the body with inversions, finishing with final relaxation and meditation.

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm

Restorative Yoga & Somatics

A gentle and restorative class combining yoga and somatic movement, working remedially to release tension from the body.

These classes are fantastic for anyone with pain or chronic tension, teaching you how to release tightly held muscles and stress.

Beginners are welcome.

Fridays 10-11am

Dynamic Yoga

Based on the Ashtanga primary series with a flowing and dynamic approach. Suitable to motivated beginners and those with an existing practice, the emphasis is on the practice as a moving meditation to bring us into a quieter and more peaceful place within ourselves. The class starts with relaxation, moving into dynamic flowing sun salutations, followed by standing asana’s, seated, inversions and closing with relaxation and meditation.

Mondays 8-9:30pm

Earley Crescent Centre

Hatha Yoga

This is a flowing Hatha Yoga class based on the Sivanada system.

We will explore yoga asana and breathwork, discovering our flexibility and strength, learning how to focus and relax and prepare for meditation.

Slow Flow Yoga

Perfect for beginners or those who prefer a less dynamic practice, we will gain flexibility and strength through gentler postures and slow flowing sequences, with less moving "up and down" from the mat.

Mixed ability, beginner friendly.

Tuesdays 6:15 - 7:15pm

Private Lessons

Private sessions are a great way to deepen and develop your practice further, they enable you to understand and build a greater self-awareness going at your own pace.

If you are a complete beginner wishing to start Yoga or have an existing practice we can create a session for you. For anyone with old injuries, pain and stiffness in the body then a Somatic movement session is highly recommended. If you would like to get together on a one-to-one basis we can discuss what it is that you would like to gain from the session and then devise a tailored session for you. I offer both Yoga and Somatic one-to-ones at your place or Wokingham therapy clinic.

Private sessions are 90 minutes and £75 for the initial consultation.

£65 for 60 minutes after or £360 for 6 sessions.
