Kirtan is a Yogic practice also known as' Yoga of the heart'. It is a Bhakti Yoga practice that allows you to feel a connection with the deeper part of yourself, which can bring a sense of blissful joy and love.
By moving attention down from the constant thinking mind and concentrating on the sound and vibration of the music it is possible to stop away from our personal story and be in a space of love.
