Hi I’m Francesca, a somatic coach, yoga teacher and trauma-informed practitioner.

 

I have 20 years of expertise supporting both children and adults, working directly with individuals as well as in schools, charities and the corporate sector.

 

I am currently based in Oxford, in a clinic specialising in supporting children and adults with both physical and emotional challenges. 

 

The type of clients I work with are children and adults with:

  • Anxiety/low mood

  • ADHD

  • Back, neck, shoulder and hip pain

  • Digestive problems

  • Low confidence and low self-esteem

  • SEN

  • Sleeping issues

This type of work can be particularly helpful for teenagers who find it difficult to engage in traditional talking therapies, as well as supporting and teaching their parents and caregivers practical ways to co-regulate - something which is especially helpful for neurodivergent adolescents.  

 

In the corporate sector I support professionals of all shapes and sizes with practical tools to deal with stress and the mental challenges they face in their roles, as well as with various forms of physical discomfort.

 

Using a range of "tools" including breathing, movement, sound and therapeutic art to explore and work through difficult emotions and issues, the aim is to support my clients to live and move with more joy, freedom and ease. This not only increases productivity, efficiency and performance generally in the workplace but also leads to more contentment with life and the relationships that we cherish outside of it.

 

How will you feel after a session?

 

There is always a great appreciation of the sessions being tailored on each occasion to each individual's specific needs, as well as the varied "set of tools" that I use and encourage my clients to "take away" with them and to practice and use in their everyday life.

Clients tell me regularly that they "feel lighter", "more in tune with their body and feelings", "more hopeful", "less anxious" and "more relaxed in their own skin".
